Her choices expand to both soft innocence light pastel in an impressionistic style and bold vibrant expressive dramatic pieces that invoke deep emotion. Sheri's' ideas encapsulate color harmony, joyful play of light. Creating rich depth in every piece. Mostly working from imagination or preferred references her concepts draw from emotionalism, symbolism taking you deeper into her intuitive connections. What emerges in layers convey renderings to be discovered by loose brush work, fast abstracted, unrefined washes arising into full blown beauty. At bluekissart.com, our mission is to bring light and love to other families with children born with CHD. We believe art makes life COMPLETE! I love co-creating artwork with the help of a divine hand. EVERY PIECE IS PRAYED OVER BEFORE A COLOR OR LINE FLOWS ONTO THE CANVAS. AS AN EXPLORER OF BEAUTY & LIGHT, my purpose is to bring artwork to communities and families which will enrich their lives. As my family, friends & collectors surround me, I am inspired to create original ARTWORK! Caring for my daughter who has CHD, has given me a new perspective on life. After many challenging days, we press on with hope and passion to create colorful memories.

ARTIST BIO
SHERI BEGAN DRAWING AS A CHILD THEN painting as hobby AFTER GETTING MARRIED TO HER HIGHSCHOOL SWEETHERT. SOON AFTER HER children were born, SHE DID WHAT MOST WOMAN DO, PUT THE PALLET AND PAINT ASIDE NOT BELIEVING SHE WAS GOOD ENOUGH. AS A SELF TAUGHT ARTIST SHE CREATED a few simple portraits but didn't think art was something she could make money from. So as a good mom often does, SHE SET it aside for other important work and family time. Sheri found time to finish two degrees in business and health science. AS THE YEARS PAST, the desire to paint never went away. The kids now grown SHE FOUND HERSELF seeking to fulfil her passion.
In 2023 She discovered MILAN ART INSTITUTE BASED IN THE US. TAUGHT BY Elli MILAN & FAMILY. SHERI HAS always been a life learner and IS thrilled at MAKING HER DREAMS REALITY. HER DEDICATION IS UNIQUE AS SHE CREATES EVERY PIECE WITH DEVOTION AND PRAYER. OFTEN IN WORPSHIP AS SHE WORKS. INSPIRED BY HER CREATOR HER MAIN GOAL IS TO CAPTURE THE ESSENSE OF HER SUBJECT OBTAINING A LIKENESS AND CONVEYING what's birthed onto the canvas. HER TALENT AND SKILLS ALLOW FOR WIDE RANGE OF STYLES. SHE ESPECIALLY LOVES THE OLD MASTERS LIKE SARGENT, VALESQUEZAS 17 & 18TH CENTURY ITALIAN PAINTERS.
HER CLASSICAL STUDIES INCLUDE PORTRAITURE WORK from Andrew Tischler in Australia, Focus on the Family's Americana artist MORGAN WEISTLING who specializes in WESTERN & PORTRAITURE. AND classes from the famous Italian pastel artist ENRICO DECENZO.
She enjoys CREATING Abstracted Realism, transitional moody works that are dynamic and rich with emotion & symbolism. Her impressionistic pieces are playful and airy. She captures the essence and heart in her children's and animal studies bringing bold vibrant mood with style and beauty.
